The Veterinary College Exam Test generally is known as in short VCAT exam is a computer-based standardized test designed for Veterinary school admission examination. The pre-veterinary students usually take the GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) or MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) for entrance to schools now. In this section, there are total 50 multiple-choice questions and test takers are given 25 minutes to answers these questions. The chemistry section tests mainly on general chemistry and the questions are asked in this section from Organic chemistry and Inorganic chemistry.
The reading comprehension section contains 40 questions that usually cover areas of natural science, and humanities. Only 40 minutes is given to students to answer these 40 multiple-choice questions. It includes mainly paragraph and passage comprehension.
There are 40 quantitative questions are includes in the VCAT exam test and questions are asked from the various area of math such as basic math concepts, algebra, and geometry. This quantitative section tests also the advanced math skills like logs and factorials. The students are given only 25 minutes to complete this section.
In the verbal section of VCAT exam, there are total 50 multiple-choice questions and test takers are given 30 minutes to solve these 50 questions. This section includes various topics such as verbal reasoning, error detection, sentence improvement, fill in the blanks, and more other verbal questions.
