SAT scores range from 10 to 40 and also corresponds to the number of questions that you missed.  The two scores ranging from the reading test and on from the writing test is combined to offer the students verbal scores on the 200-800 range.  The Math score on the 10-40 scale and gets converted to a final score from 200-800.
